Committed to Fellowship
John’s first stated purpose of this letter is that his readers “may have fellowship” with him and with the Lord. Presumably, in contrast to those who had fallen away and were no longer in fellowship. Are we committed to being in fellowship with one another and with the Lord? (Scripture: 1 John 1:1-4)
