We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love. Whether you have a family of 5 or are single and love to ride your mountain bike, you'll find a place to help you experience God.
The Children’s Ministry at McDermott Road seeks to partner with parents in laying a spiritual foundation for their families. We do this by helping our children grow in knowledge, helping them grow in relationships, and strengthening our families.
The youth group at McDermott Road values diversity. We are blessed to be a place where students from all across the North Dallas suburbs come together to worship Jesus.
The church of Christ on McDermott Road endeavors to equip couples with the know-how to nurture their marriage long past the moment they say “I do.”
Counseling / Family Support
Our family support efforts apply Christ’s principles to life’s trials while offering effective care, education, enrichment and intervention, which sustain spiritual, emotional and relational strength and vitality for those who want to achieve it.
Our World Outreach Ministry is concerned with carrying out the challenge given by Jesus to go and make additional followers of ALL people. We have no geographical limitations; this work is both domestic and global in its involvement.
In the face of dramatically changing demographics as the world arrives in our neighborhoods, Christians have an opportunity like never before to reach our communities with the Good News of Jesus.
At McDermott Road we are blessed with 37 small groups that we call Life Groups.
Our groups meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon or evening with Bible
discussion guide that is based on the morning sermon. Groups often share
dessert or a meal as well.
At the McDermott Road Preschool, we believe that preschool is an important part of children's development where they can learn social skills and important foundations of academics. These skills are essential in preparing children for future educational opportunities. In addition to these skills, we also want to nurture our students’ love and knowledge of God’s Word.
